The Leper Window: Cover art & release date revealed

The Leper Window is the latest in my ‘Daniel Gates’ novella series, which began with the critically acclaimed The Lucifer Glass (click here to read some rave reviews) from Samhain Horror.

I’m super thrilled today to share the cover art with you (below – again by artist Scott Carpenter) and to announce the release date of October 6th 2015 – just in time for Halloween!

Keep an eye on this blog and my social media for pre-order links, extracts and contests in the run up to release.

Of course October is a little way off, but Samhain is never far away so in the meantime why not catch up with my other titles at the Samhain Store.

I hope you’re enjoying this character and series. Daniel Gates will return in novella number three in the series in 2016.

Lately I have been on a huge Samhain Horror kick and it seems like all the books I have been sent for review and books I have read on my own have been through this publisher. I first started reading Samhain Horror through Hunter Shea’s work and ever since then I have been exposed to a ton of excellent authors. Frazer Lee is a name that has continuously popped up and I have been hearing a lot about his debut The Lamplighters, which was a finalist for a Bram Stoker award in the “Superior Achievement in a First Novel” category. Seeing as how I have been nothing short of impressed with the offerings of Samhain Horror, this instantly became a must-read for me.

The Jack in the Green gets a 5-star review: “Implacable, gruesome, nature horror”

Thrilled to receive a 5-star review from Mallory Heart Reviews:

Gruesome horror of the classic bent–wrapped in millennia-old paganism, Nature “red in tooth and claw,” (as Wordsworth depicted)–unfolding characters, raw terror, mix into one exciting, adventurous tale.
